The City faced significant challenges with the security of and access to its cloud applications. Redundancy in authentication and access permissions required users to have multiple login credentials to access the cloud, limiting productivity and increasing user frustration and resistance.
The City needed to consolidate authentication processes and strengthen the permissions required to access its Cloud ERP. The City sought to implement Microsoft’s Azure Active Directory (AD) and integrate it with Oracle ERP Cloud to protect user identities and prevent unauthorized access to the cloud.
Specifically, the City had the following objectives for this engagement:
